L'Albero dei Racconti

What it is

L'Albero dei Racconti is the most stubborn file I have ever owned: the only one to survive thirty years of dead computers, sealed hard drives and digital moves.

Eighteen stories written between 1991 and 1996, kept like an amulet and finally printed: not rewritten, but helped to say better what the boy who wrote them already knew. They start from everyday Rome (closed bars, rude dogs, ticket inspectors with legal ambitions) and at some point they tear open.
